About the Game:
In FRAGMENTOR, you control a paddle with your mouse, shoot a ball, and try to destroy all the bricks in each level. Along the way, you can collect items – like ammo for your cannon. The game saves automatically every time you close it.

Features:

• You have to press the left mouse button to reload and then shoot (the bottom right shows your ammo count).

• The level editor is hopefully self-explanatory. Just be sure to save your level before testing it.

• If the next level doesn’t load: press Escape → go to the pause menu → return to the main menu → start the next level manually.

A note about the ball:
I tried hard to fix its behavior – but it seems the ball has a mind of its own. Sometimes it just does whatever it wants. It might even fly off the top of the screen and whisper “Yay, I’m free!”
Don’t take it too seriously – I hope you still enjoy the game despite its little quirks!

!Important note!

I added a grey slider in the bottom left corner that lets you change the ball speed.
Unfortunately, I forgot to give it a label – so most players probably don’t even know what it does.
Now the slider feels sad and lonely because it has no name.

Background info:
This is my first released game, and I spent about two weeks making it.

At the beginning, I followed a tutorial to get started – but already on the second day I finished the tutorial and started adding my own ideas and rewriting the original code.
About 90% of the original code was modified or completely replaced by me.
Only a few textures remained unchanged.

This game was created using Unity 6.1 and Visual Studio 2022. For some parts of the development, I used AI-assisted autocomplete suggestions to speed up the coding process.

The title screen image is AI-generated, sounds are from Brackeys, and the music is from incompetech.com.
